- Local trails in your neighborhood, and enjoy a hike with other nature enthusiasts
- Open Space Division programs offered in your city for all ages from early childhood through adult
Program is free, no registration required. Parking is $2 per vehicle. Meet at the northern most parking lot at Tingley Beach, just south of Central Ave. Look for the "City Nature Challenge Albuquerque Event Meets Here" sign at the parking lot trail head. Program takes places rain or shine. Dress in layers appropriate for a short hike on a sandy trail. Wear closed-toed shoes and bring your smartphone with the free iNaturalist app installed on your phone. (Available on both Google Play and the App Store.) We will also have mini-tablets available to use for the event if you do not have a smart phone.
