Jami Nelson-Nuñez studies the politics of service provision and the challenges of extending basic services to poor households and marginalized peoples in developing contexts. Her work focuses on actors in service provision, such as NGOs and local governments, and the specific policy issues of access to water and improved sanitation. Her recent research explores responses to climate change in water scarce contexts in Latin America.
