Online Event
The New Horizons in Conservation Conference is a hybrid event that focuses on students, faculty, and professionals in the conservation field who have been historically underrepresented in the environmental workforce. The conference brings together people of color and white allies who are interested in enhancing diversity in environmental organizations, academic environmental programs, and the broader environmental movement.
The conference features an impressive array of nationally recognized speakers who will cover a range of topics such as energy justice, food justice, land rights and reparations, climate justice, diversity and inclusion, transportation justice, disaster and resilience, environmental enforcement, environmental quality, just transitions, and sustainability. There will also be workshops on topics such as salary negotiations, effective job interviewing, grantmaking, networking, and financial planning. You can see the agenda here.
