UNM students start denim recycling program

November 20, 2018

The University of New Mexico’s Environment Coalition partnered with the Blue Jeans Go Green program to kick off a denim recycling for insulation campaign on Friday afternoon in the Student Union Building atrium.

This campaign looks to collect used denim from around UNM's campus to be turned back into its natural cotton fiber state and upcycled to a non-toxic denim insulation.
