This lecture series is presented by the International Studies Institute covers “Migration Stories.”

“Migration Stories” touches not only on the human immigration and refugee status, but also on the transformative power of cultural and linguistic interaction, the syncretism of music and dance from multiple traditions, aspects of the law, and the migration of plants across continents through commercial and cultural connections. There are eight speakers from backgrounds as varied as Law, Poetry, Sociology, Linguistics, Geography, Music, Dance and Political Science. The lecture series is aimed at non-specialists. All are welcomed and encouraged to interact with the speakers during the Q&A, at the end of each lecture.
