The Yerba Mansa Project is a community service endeavor organized by Albuquerque Herbalism in partnership with the City of Albuquerque Open Space. It is our mission to help create healthy native plant communities, educate the public, and foster community involvement in the Rio Grande Bosque. Help us restore Bosque habitat, Yerba Mansa, and other native plants. Our restoration work includes the removal of invasive non-native Ravenna Grass from the understory along with the replanting and reseeding of native grasses, herbs, and shrubs.
