Comanche Creek Annual Volunteer Work Weekend 2018
August 2, 2018 12:00 AM
Valle Vidal, Carson National Forest
Please join Quivira and restoration experts in work to improve wetland function and keep the creeks flowing in the Valle Vidal.
We will be working in the Foreman, Sawmill, and Springwagon tributaries to Comanche Creek. These are truly beautiful areas, not easily accessible to the public. As always, we will be moving rocks, sod, and logs. Come to get muddy and then to relax in camp with friends old and new.
After you have registered, you will receive a workshop packet (2 PDF files), which will contain everything you need in advance, including a map and directions to the workshop site.
Arrive and set up camp. We realize that not everyone will be able to make the Friday workday. However, if you can be there Thursday night, we will be there to greet you.
