Join the Bernalillo County Master Composters from 9:30 am to noon at the Open Space Visitor Center for a Home Composting Basics class. 

Desert garden soils often lack sufficient organic matter to hold water and improve structure. Learn the science, materials and methods of drought-proofing your garden soil in order to grow vegetables, fruits and berries.

Cost: Open and free to the public.
