2018 John Gaw Meem Lecture

Dr. Arlene Blum, the Executive Director of the Green Science Policy Institute, will be giving the 2018 John Gaw Meem Lecture in the UNM School of Architecture and Planning’s Spring lecture series. The title of her talk is “Six Classes: The Chemical Class Approach Toward Healthy Buildings, People, and the Environment”. Dr. Blum has worked internationally to keep known toxins out of everyday products to protect public health and the environment, and she led the first American ascent of Annapurna I, among other feats. This promises to be an excellent and informative talk that is of interest to the health and environmental communities. The talk is Friday, February 16th at 5:30pm in George Pearl Hall Auditorium at UNM. Pearl Hall is located on Central Ave, between Stanford and Cornell, across from The Frontier.
