Bandelier East Hall, room 105 - 450 University Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106
Join Herbalist and Geographer Dara Saville for this introduction to medicinal plants from the varied habitats of Central New Mexico. We will visit the Sandias, the Bosque, foothills, Chihuahua, Desert, and the metro area to explore a key medical plant from each area. In doing so we will discuss medicinal uses and preparations while sampling a few herbal products made from these plants. Additionally we will take a brief look at ways that these environments are changing and what that means for plants in our area.
This event will happen on January 26, 2018, from 3:00-4:00 p.m.
The class will be held at the UNM Bandelier East Hall in room 105.
