As climate change becomes a more pressing global concern, colleges are looking for ways to engage students and the rest of the campus community in ways to improve sustainability and energy efficiency locally. Tech tools such as apps and online dashboards can help those efforts.

Some colleges use apps, for one, to encourage individuals to change their habits. The apps incentivize students to check-in when they commit a sustainable act, such as taking public transit or bringing a reusable bag to the grocery store.

Join an upcoming virtual forum discussion on July 20 at 2 pm ET to take a deeper look into how such tools would encourage those on campus to deal with a global issue.
